Call for Proposals
The theme for the 2025 ISCHE Retreat to be held on June 3-5 at the UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge in California will be From Complexity to Clarity: Translating Environmental Health Research into Impact for Children’s Health.
We invite you to submit session proposals that address the theme of the retreat and align with the mission of the society to reduce the impact of adverse chemical, physical, biological, and social influences on children’s health through research, policy, training, and education. Sessions are typically 90 minutes in length.
Please include the following information in the proposal:
Session title:
Chair, co-chair or moderator:
Email of session chair or organizer:
Session format (example: brief presentations, panel discussion, hands-on training):
Brief overview (limit 250 words):
Main objectives of session (list 2-3 objectives):
Potential speakers/participants and their topics:
We highly encourage session organizers to include speakers from LMICs and to represent different career stages.
List potential speakers and indicate if they have agreed to participate if the session is selected.
Please contact the planning committee if you need suggestions on speakers.
Please submit proposals by March 4, 2025 via email to Kasia Kordas (kkordas@buffalo.edu). Notifications about session selections will be sent out by March 24, 2025.
